- 8 c powdered sugar
- 1 c butter
- 1 small jar maraschino cherries
- toothpicks
- 12 oz semisweet chocolate
- 1/4
- Cream butter until very fluffy, then add sugar and mix until it reaches very thick consistency.
- Drain cherries and wrap with white mixture.
- Place on wax paper with toothpicks in each cherry. Freeze.
- Melt chocolate and parafin in double broiler (or in a bowl over boiling water).
- Dip cherries into the chocolate and return to wax paper.
- Keep cool.
