sheila's chocolate gravy

Maybe it sounds odd, but chocolate gravy poured over a plate of biscuits and scrambled eggs is about the best breakfast out there.
  • 1 c sugar
  • 4 tblspn baking cocoa
  • 4 tblsp flour or 2 tblsp cornstarch
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Mix everything except the milk in a sauce pan over medium to low heat.
  2. Add milk gradually while stirring.
  3. Continue stirring until thickened (should be runny but coats the spoon).
  4. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
