karen's avacado appy

My friend Karen serves this as one of her many signature appetizers when guest are over. It's so simple but is just delicious...
  • avacado
  • olive oil
  • kosher salt
  • baguette
  1. Grill/toast slices of the baquette.
  2. Peel and slice the avacado into strips
  3. Place avacado on serving dish, drizzle olive oil liberally over the slices, and then top with a good sprinkle of salt.
  4. Serve next to a dish of the toasts.

  1. Calls for lemon juice too. Same amount as olive oil.
